Hogar Cuna de
Quetzaltenango, Guatemala started out of a love for children who
had no family to care for them. Eagle’s Nest Children’s
Home and Retreat Center in Solola, is the new name and location of
the home started by the Boggs; Larry and Claire will continue as
directors. The Eagle’s
Nest is located in the mountains above the one of the most beautiful
lakes in the world. It is surrounded by three magnificent volcano's
up as high as the eagle’s fly. Eagle’s Nest works in
coordination with Special Delivery International, Inc. to “Unite

My wife and
I have been involved in Claire’s ministry to orphans
in Guatemala for almost fifteen years now. Because we got to meet
Marta at the orphanage, and because her story was so dramatic, we
believe this publication is an answer to prayer. Now we’re
hoping that Claire will write more stories that illustrate the grace
and goodness of God to more of “Clarita’s ninos!”

These books

Claire Boggs
was born in Portland, Oregon. She married Larry Boyd Boggs in the
year 1965, and
they made their home and raised a family in Wichita,
Kansas.
The Boggs have four married children and 11 grandchildren. They have been
missionaries in Guatemala since 1978, where they established seven
missions and helped in
the building of the Baptist Seminary, a hospital, and the children’s
home for abandoned children.
Poor
Marta is a true story of a sweet little girl with a sad beginning
and a
happy ending. Marta’s life was not an easy one, but she was one of
the fortunate one’s to be chosen to fly to meet her forever family in the

Months in the Same Boots is a story based on a true story
of two little boys waiting for their forever families. Their
future

God’s hands. One boy was adopted and the other
