Larry and Claire Boggs,
Guatemala

Larry and Claire Boggs have been Baptist missionaries since 1978. They began working with orphaned children during their first year in Guatemala. Since that time the adoptions have changed, but the need for a family for each child has not.

Larry was raised in Wichita, Kansas. Claire was raised in Gresham, Oregon. After Seminary at Baptist Bible College in Missouri, they traveled to Guatemala, beginning a new adventure with their children, which has become a life time of service for God and the people of Guatemala.

This couple raised their 4 children in Guatemala and are proud to have all of them a part of Special Delivery International. The children are now married and Larry and Claire are equally proud of their families and their 11 grandchildren.

The Children’s home was born out of love of the babies with no parents. 1000 children have benefited from the home which has existed for 21 yrs in Quetzaltenango, and now with the new home in Solola, they are ready to help more children as needed. This new home has a new name, Nido Del Aguila Hogar de Niños translation, Eagle’s Nest Home for Children “El Nido”.
